I love this vivacious sculpture of a child and dolphin playing in the fountain. Photographer Philippa Wilson has captured this image with the frozen icicles dripping from the dolphin, but the sun reminds us spring is on its way. The background of London’s Tower Bridge acts as another reminder to check out that fountain next time you visit there.

What a lovely photograph by Mathieu Chatrain. The smiling little girl looks like she’s in mid-gallop on her small, wooden horse. The image of a mature, confidently-erect woman riding a galloping horse on the wall and replacing the real shadow of the girl is a beautiful projection of the girl’s dreams. How imaginative.
I found this (uncredited) photograph online of the Sydney university. I love how the illumination brings such warmth to the image of the cold mammoth, creating yellow and orange tones akin to the glow of a fireplace. The purple bloom and green of grass add the final splash of vivid color. I like to imagine myself inside, curled up near a fire, a book on my lap and a cup of tea in my hand.
I don’t usually subject my baby like this, but this Halloween costume doubles up as a rain coat and hat. And you can tell Stark doesn’t mind at all, right?
